What are Pedestrian and Vehicle Barriers and how are they deployed?

In modern industrial facilities and warehouses, barriers serve the function of both protecting pedestrians and buildings from vehicles and mechanical handling equipment, keeping the former safe and the latter undamaged.

Barriers can be supplied in either polymer or mild/stainless steel to suit the environment. Polymer barrier protection is proving a more popular choice than steel due to its flexible properties on , returning to its original shape after impact, minimising damage to both barrier and vehicle. Also ongoing maintenance of polymer barriers is virtually zero in comparison with steel which may require repainting and repair over time. Steel barriers are also available if there is a need or preference.

Bollards
